Advanced Coastal Cruising
Advanced Coastal Cruising – ACC (ASA 106): Upon successful completion of this class, students will be able to safely act as skipper and crew of a sailing vessel about 30 to 50 feet in length. This is a four day, four night class, with daytime and nighttime sailing in coastal water. This class takes place in Northern California coastal waters between Monterey Bay and Drakes Bay. Classes are small with two students per boat with one instructor, allowing for plenty of experience both as skipper and crew. It is recommended that students read the text prior to starting the class in order to be as prepared as possible. A written test and a practical on-the-water test are given at the end of the class. With successful completion of the tests, the student will receive Advanced Coastal Cruising ASA certification.
